Welcome to the Birthday Spa

This year I said I was going small!
I have a LOT on my plate.
I don't need the stress of planning.
It was #7 and my daughter was all about a spa day.
I called to find out how much a party would be at the local child's spa.
Are you ready for this?
190.00 for one mani and pedi per six girls.
And,
maybe if I wasn't such a Spa DiVa
I would have paid it.
All I could think of was, 'do you know what I can do with 200.00, a few girls, and a spa theme'!?!
I just couldn't pay someone else to do something that I can do better (no matter how busy things get).
I mean seriously.
I made a call to my mom and sister and we got to planning.
In the end, we had the most awesome little Spa Shop with a most awesome gathering of sweet friends for a most awesome #7.
(Call ahead for office hours.  😜 )

Welcome to Carlee's Spa:

Have a seat at our birthday table,
set up for the perfect resort experience.

Relax and enjoy some pampering time.
Let this moment melt those first grade sight words and recess drama times away.

These homemade party mats were a great idea because this spa got messy.....

fast!

 Delicious Refreshment = Happy Pores

Science Shows:
gold slime can melt the stress away!
(it's a fact)

I take my creativity from my mom.
She made cupcake socks for all the girls.
Comfy Feet =  Happy Feet

Next, we made the most delicious homemade coconut oil and Kool- Aid lip glosses.
(The secret is to make sure the coconut oil is liquid first, then freeze after mixing.)

Moisturized Lips = Happy Lips

Fizzy Hand Soak
(warm water and a bath bomb)

Take a little time out in the photo booth.

The boys were so sweet about having fun with the girls.
Connor was a HUGE help.

Pampering is hard work but someone has to do it.

Mani/ Pedi Time
Luckily, my house is a full time nail salon on the weekdays, so no extra nail polishes were needed.

The girls were huge fans of the foot baths!
Indulged Feet = Happy Feet

"This is like a real nail salon!"  -T.

My mom found these really cute Disney Princess facial masks that came in one roll but she cut them apart, made copies of the cover, and laminated them so that each child had their own.

You just leave them on for thirty minutes and wipe your face with a small hand towel.

Hydrated Skin = Happy Skin
It is never to early to take good care of your skin ladies!

Another fun activity-

decorate your pedi flip flops with ribbon!
It's all about individuality.
#personalize
Little girls are truly sugar and spice!
(and growing up extremely quickly)

When it was time for refreshments only a nail polish cake would do-
isn't that the cutest cake you have EVER saw??

At first the girls thought it was a hat (obviously not as familiar with the cosmetics like my child), but soon realized it was a nail polish bottle and loved it too.

In addition to some snacks and fruit, Carlee and I made a set of these nail polish goodies.
colored sugar/ marshmallow/ tootsie combo

#cute

My mom and sister wrapped candy bars with beauty wrapping paper, and provided gift bags that include jewels, cupcake lip glosses, and other fun things for the little girls to enjoy later.
You won't walk away without goodies at this spa.  Giving is always better than receiving!

Let us not forget the hair extensions.  I'm certain these exact ones are worn by all the celebrities.  :)

I think a little birthday spa therapy is what we all needed!
What a fun day.

Happy Girls = Happy Mommies

After all, who does Spa Day better than me?
ummmm.  no one.

To My Daughter,

We are so thankful to God for every inch of you from your head to your toes!
We love you.
