Heavens to Betsy,
I almost forgot to blog tonight!
Today is 37/100 blogger challenge.
Today was chill.
We watched Trolls (terrible), made Troll doll jello jigglers, and organized a few things. I mainly watched Real Housewives of Orange County.
Tomorrow is super busy. I'm going to try my best to hit the pool before Darren goes to work. I did Zumba tonight and felt great but right now I am starving!
See you tomorrow.

36- Get Busy
I made it through a very challenging week.
(Though we had a nice spot in the newspaper.)
I even got up very early Friday and tackled the house (and felt pretty good). However, by Friday evening my body and mind had had enough and decided to revolt.
I began to feel sluggish, tired, and the seasonal allergies are giving me a challenge. Most of the time, I ignore my body and push forward but it's Spring break and I listened.
This weekend between the Easter festivities- I read two books, I slept in, I watched my shows, I took a three hour nap, and this morning I woke up to the worst mess ever. Multiple Easter baskets, candy wrappers, play dough, books, and toys littered the house. Two full loads of dishes waited in the sink. Two laundry baskets full of laundry sat in the closet.
I ignored reality before I finally got going at 12pm today. I didn't even feel horribly guilty about the potato chips my kids ate for breakfast. By the end of the day I had a full vacuum cleaner bag, a full dishwasher, and five full bags of trash to carry downstairs. How did that all happen in one weekend!?! After soccer practice I finally made it to the store and pharmacy. It's so nice to go out at night to run errands and not feel completely depleted.
I have decided this week will be dedicated to preparing for end of year, relaxing, and spending quality time with the kids. I refuse to put too much pressure on myself.

34- Easter BBQ and Allergies
To make a long story short, I had to come home with Carlee and end our Easter BBQ.
We were outside for some time playing volleyball/ egg hunt/ etc. I began to feel myself wheezing and coughing, my chest felt tight, and I got really tired.
Good ole' Spring and allergies.
I went home immediately (with Carlee) to chug a bottle of water, take Benadryl, and my emergency inhaler.
Feeling good now but very sleeeppppyyyy.
I hope the boys come home soon because I am ready to crash.
More pics soon.
Happy Easter.

33- Good Friday
Today we had a special Easter visit.
My mom, brother, and sister came to our house.
(I bet you didn't even know I had a young sister did you?)

It was a positive visit and we have plans for more fun in the future.
I believe having two children allows me to better understand the importance of family and forgiveness.
Happy Good Friday Everyone
and may we remember that without Easter we would not have forgiveness.....

32- Leadership and Spring Break
Today went pretty well. There were a few glitches but you know we did what we do and rolled with it. My friend Kelly (who is calm and patient and kind) says "it is what it is". That is so much better than my whole philosophy of "do it right or pay". This is why I need positive and encouraging people like my colleagues. he. he.
Anyway, God is good and I am very excited about Spring break!! (At least one day will be spent in pajamas ALLLLLL day.)
Enjoy a few moments from our student led- Global Leadership Day:

31- Planning to Lead
We have been planning for months.
and now it is time to show off our school.
I am placing all the little (and big) details in God's hands and praying over our students, teachers, and administrators that they can convey how awesome they are to all visitors.
Here is a sneak peek of our Global School:
(I just can't wait to see it all myself.)
